After watching most of last night's college football national championship game I did something completely unthinkable. I went to bed before the game ended.
It was so bad.
How bad?

This college football fan absolutely trashed the selection of the College Football Playoff Committee for it:
What is this? WHAT IS THIS!!? What have you given us!? THIS IS THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! IT IS 45 TO 7! YOU THOUGHT TCU BELONGED IN THIS GAME?
This man is my spirit animal.
Now, there have been blowouts before and bad championship games. But this was perhaps the most pathetic showing by a football team on the biggest stage in college football history.
TCU was utterly and completely embarrassed.
What was their qualifications College Football Playoff Committee? WHAT WAS THEIR QUALIFICATIONS?! GETTING BEAT BY KANSAS STATE! THAT QUALIFIES YOU FOR THIS GAME? THE BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR! THE GAME THAT EVERY COLLEGE FOOTBALL FAN, NO MATTER WHAT TEAM THEY PULL FOR LOOKS FORWARD TO! AND THIS IS THE GARBAGE THAT YOU GAVE US! PATHETIC! YOU ARE PATHETIC! THIS IS A DISASTER! THIS IS A BARN FIRE!
[Editor's Note: While this was one of the most lopsided games of all time, for some of us, watching the team that beat Michigan get absolutely steamrolled by the team that beat Ohio State was like soothing balm to the soul.]
