Apparently, CNN had a bunch of royalty free "ominous music" tracks laying around, and they'd already paid for them, so they decided to cobble together a special report called "Inside the QAnon Conspiracy."
Dun-dun-DUNNN!
The report is rife with melodrama, but it brought us one of the most bizarre journalistic moments of the year so far.

That's Jitarth Jadeja who Cooper was interviewing, by the way. And he claims to be a former QAnon believer.
But you gotta love how offended Anderson Cooper is. Because, of course, like most lefty journalists, he seizes on the opportunity to make the story about himself. And he asks in the most jilted-sounding voice, "Wa-was it something about me?"
