Not by telling everyone to stop being good commie wordsmiths who don't use definite articles, mind you (sorry, wordsmiths of commieness).
No, the AP still wants you to reverse word order to make labels seem less concrete and more woke.
Instead, they just admitted that it sounds weird when applied to the French.
