This kid from Indiana State is on a roll heading into March and he's been given one of the greatest nicknames in basketball history

"Cream Abdul-Jabbar," that's the stellar nickname the internet has come up with for the Indiana State Sycamores' Robbie Avila, who scored 35 points at Evansville on Wednesday night, producing this beauty of a highlight right here.

Boy is killin' it!

No wonder they're calling him Cream Abdul-Jabbar!

FYI, Cream Adbul-Jabbar is a reference to Milwaukee Bucks and Lakers great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and it's funny because Kareem is black while Robbie Avila is more of a cream color. Both men also wear goggles during play, which is both nerdy and practical.

Avila has had quite the season, averaging 17.4 points per game along with 7.1 boards. Indiana State is 6th in the nation in points scored, and third in the nation in field goal percentage, making just over half of their shots. They're on everybody's radar leading up to the NCAA Tournament, and coming out of the Missouri Valley Conference they'd make a great Cinderella story. They've got the offense for it, but everyone knows you need a good defense to win in the big tournament, so we'll see.

Either way, my money's on Cream Abdul-Jabbar in the Missouri Valley Conference, and I'll take them to win one game, maybe two, in the NCAA tournament.

Though I'm mostly just here for the white guy highlights, so here's more.
