What's up with all these woke moms who want to trans their kids? This resurfaced 1991 study on depression and narcissism might shed some light on the trend.

This study that our buddies at TimCast helped resurfaced is REALLY something to consider in the wake of the whole "trans the kids" phenomenon going on right now.

In a 1991 study of boys with, what was at that time called "gender dysphoria," it found that 53% of those gender-confused boys had moms with either diagnosed depression or bipolar disorder.

That number dropped to 6% for the control group.

Also, 44% of the moms had sought treatment for depression at some point.

It's worth noting the community note on that tweet, because this was only an initial study that looked at 16 mothers. You've got to take it with a grain of salt. But you can also use other data sets, like your eyes and ears and what other professionals are saying.

The number of "trans kids" has skyrocketed since this study, as activist Billboard Chris points out:

It's important to note this was a 1994 [sic] paper, well before the social contagion we see today. These are supposed to be the true cases of gender dysphoria, back when it affected a tiny handful of the population. Even then it was just due to crazy moms in half the cases. There is no such thing as a transgender child.

This was in 1991, not even '94, and the study makes it clear that gender dysphoria is rooted, half the time at least, in unstable mothers.

Now answer me this: In the age of social contagion where having a trans child is a badge of honor in some communities, what is the likelihood that the parental and social influence on kids to be trans has decreased?

We all know the answer to that.

If you are unaware of the "devouring mother" that is being referred to here, Jordan Peterson explained that idea on the Joe Rogan show recently. Sorry for the creepy music, but this is the best short video on it, for a longer discussion click here.

We've seen this happen with reality TV families like the mom of Jazz Jennings:

In my unprofessional opinion, not only do you have mentally unstable moms raising kids to be another gender, you have to throw into the mix an entire society that encourages this behavior and public school teachers who, like these "devouring mothers," will encourage children to be trans against their parents wishes in order to make themselves feel a sense of superiority for their misplaced compassion.

  • We see court cases like Williams vs. Frymire where a mom was ruled to have forced a child to transition against their will as revenge on the child's father.
  • Then there are examples like this one from Belgium where a trans man committed suicide after a botched sex change surgery which was undertaken to appease parents who wished they had a boy instead of a girl.
  • This 1994 study came back around recently in the light of celebrity Rachel LeFevre saying she was raising a 7-year-old "non-binary" child and would no longer shop at Target after they moved some of their Pride displays.

This is the perfect encapsulation of the "transgender" moment.

Munchausen by proxy refers to the idea that mentally unstable moms are forcing their kids to be LGBT in order to help boost their own egos, essentially.

Brandon Showalter at The Christian Post has done tremendous work diving into this theory, including interviewing experts who agree that the trans fad is influenced by toxic mothers and now, more than ever, by a toxic culture that celebrates transgenderism.

Many women want to make their children into tokens to show off their woke credentials and they force them into sex politics for their own societal glorification.

Having a "non-binary" seven-year-old is like having a vegan cat. We all know who's making the decision.

We have a deep sickness in our country, and the trans kids phenomenon is only the tip of the iceberg.
