Firefighters with the Placer County Fire Department in California responded to the scene of a car accident when vehicle struck a house.

Imagine their surprise to find the vehicle had struck the second floor of the house and was still there.

How did this even happen? I mean seriously, take a look at some of these photos the fire department posted to social media:

Since the driver was still in the car, needing rescue, they had to cut power to the neighborhood, stabilize the scene, and pull the driver out for medical teams waiting in the house.

(Probably just hanging out in the living room downstairs, I guess.)

The crazy thing is that this is not even the first car to go through a roof this week!

There was another one in Yadkinville, North Carolina.

Golly, maybe there's something to climate change after all.

I mean this is some weather we're having these days!

I guess if it comes down to giving up our gas stoves or having cars raining down on our houses, we can start using our charcoal grills more. 😭
