It feels like we get a story out of Colorado involving Venezuelan gangsters every week now, doesn't it?
This time, one of the scumbags embarrassed himself when the cops find him trying to evade them by disguising himself in drag.
Yeah, nice try buddy.
Turns out, Aurora police aren't as gullible as the average Bugs Bunny villain.
Photos show Venezuelan gangbanger Niefred Serpa-Acosta, 20, with his hands up as he pretended to be a she when cops showed up, Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky told The Post.
Police were sweeping The Edge at Lowry apartments for suspects in the kidnapping and torturing of two residents in the Denver suburb early Dec. 17.
Serpa-Acosta and other accomplices allegedly kidnapped an immigrant couple at the apartment complex and severely beat them while robbing them.
Police swept the complex the week before Christmas and found Serpa-Acosta in the wig, hat, and girls clothes attempting to avoid capture.
Since it's Colorado in 2024, there's a high percentage chance this dude could sue to get into the women's prison!
But seriously, good job on the cops for not letting wokeness prevent them from realizing the dude pretending to be a gal was not really a gal.
Serpa-Acosta's deep voice, however, blew his cover, Jurinsky said.
'This gives a whole new meaning to transnational gangs in Aurora,' she quipped.
You have gangs of Venezuelan nationals taking over entire parts of your city, but at least you still have your sense of humor about it!
(I can't even fault her. That's literally a joke I would have made if I had thought of it first.)
The alleged kidnapper in question is (obviously) an illegal immigrant. On top of that, Serpa-Acosta was apprehended by ICE earlier this year and released (of course) for unknown reasons.
They've got him now. Let's hope they don't let him go so easy again.
