Well, this is a wild coincidence.
Maria Florencia was traveling from her home in Argentina to her father's birthplace of Castel San Lorenzo, Italy. The aim of her trip was to explore the place her dad called home, so she booked an Airbnb with a 5-star review and 'Superhosts' named Margherita and Enza in the medieval Italian village.
When she arrived, she was shocked to find out that the Airbnb was her dad's literal home.
She brought along with her family pictures from her dad's childhood in Castel San Lorenzo, including pictures of his house.
The owners of the Airbnb had bought the property from Florencia's grandparents and were able to further confirm that this was, in fact, the same house.
The Airbnb hosts were able to help their guest discover a bit of local history, and some of her personal family history during the course of her trip.
Florencia left the Superhosts another 5-star review to keep up the property's perfect score, with just the tiniest mention of the fun coincidence.
I'd say that 5-star review was definitely well deserved in this case.
