TikTok will now force all users to adhere to transgender pronoun rules and other LGBTQ mandates

Most of the people on TikTok—okay, honestly, nearly all of them—likely aren't the types to challenge anything related to the LGBTQ mafia. It's a space pretty well dominated by hardcore progressivism in most ways.

Still, the platform is taking no chances:

The social media giant TikTok on Tuesday explicitly banned certain types of anti-LGBTQ content and speech on its platform.

In updated community guidelines, the company noted that it is "adding clarity on the types of hateful ideologies prohibited on our platform," stating that it will ban deadnaming, or using a transgender person's pre-transition name, and misgendering, using incorrect pronouns.

The platform is also prohibiting "content that supports or promotes conversion therapy programs," referring to a discredited practice that seeks to stop someone from being LGBTQ.

For clarity: If a man believes he is a woman and wants to go by "she" pronouns, but you continue to correctly use "he" pronouns to refer to that man, that decision—if uploaded in video form to the platform—get you banned from TikTok.

Similarly, if, say, a man named Luke decides he is a woman and starts going by "Lucia," but you continue to refer to him as Luke, that, also, will get you banned from TikTok.

Note that the whole thing was the result of a hardline pressure campaign:

The policy update follows pressure from GLAAD, an LGBTQ media advocacy nonprofit, and UltraViolet, a national gender justice advocacy group. According to GLAAD, the new policy incorporates recommendations that the group made to TikTok last year in its Social Media Safety Index, which deemed five of the world's leading social media platforms — including TikTok — "effectively unsafe for LGBTQ users."

Ah yes, TikTok—a social media platform dominated almost entirely by Generation Z, whose members cycle through several different transgender identities before breakfast every day—is somehow "unsafe for LGBTQ users." Makes sense!

Gee, I wonder if GLAAD was being manifestly dishonest in order to push its own demented agenda? You think it's possible?

If you haven't already, it's probably a good idea to nuke TikTok from your phone and salt the earth over its ashes.
