Serbian Crossfitter Lazar Dukic drowned during the swimming portion of the 2024 Crossfit Games as lifeguards completely missed him struggling in the water near the finish line.

The Crossfit Games announced the death of Lazar on their X account.

Fans don't think that the Crossfit organizers did everything they could to help Lazar as he drowned helplessly on live TV.

There is a rumor that a spectator saw Lazar drowning and jumped in, but was turned away by the lifeguards.

Some are attacking the Crossfit Games for the way they handled this event, apart from the apparently sparse lifeguards.
