As 99.9% of adults with functioning brains predicted, NBC's Savannah Guthrie didn't moderate Thursday's town hall as much as directly attack the president for an entire hour on national TV.

Trump, however, brought his A-game to this fight. Sure, he's floundered in his answers before, and his demeanor in answering those questions hasn't always been presidential. But as a normally-functioning human with ears and eyes, I'll call this one like I see it: Trump crushed this thing. Don't just take my word for it though:

The match was not just a battle between Trump and Guthrie, however. Oh no. You see, Guthrie was the avatar of the entire Left, embodying all their vitriol inside a human vessel. As one Twitter user so wonderfully put it:

Guthrie spent the night lecturing and badgering the president. As a totally-unbiased reporter married to Al Gore's former traveling chief of staff, she is completely nonpartisan.

Her dogged attacks on a sitting president did not go unnoticed. While some in the Twittersphere praised her for debating Orange Man Bad, most functioning adults were off-put by her demeanor and attitude.
