The Donald has finally made his official debut on Truth Social, and he made his entrance in true Trump style:
In other news, after about 2 months of being number two hundred thousand and something on a waitlist, I finally have access to Truth!
Doesn't really seem like I missed much though, since the last time Trump said anything on the platform was in February. 😬
I have to wonder if Elon's purchase of Twitter finally made Trump and his team kick their site development into high gear. They probably want to get as much traffic as possible before Elon steals the spotlight with rockets and based memes.
Speaking of Elon, the Dogelord had a good point:
It's really bugging me now.
"Truths and replies?"
What does that mean?
"Tweets" makes sense because it invokes the image of a bunch of birds twittering at each other in a tree. That's a perfect image for what the platform does.
"Trumpets" would likewise be a perfect analogy for a digital public square.
What a missed opportunity!
