So if you don't know, Fort Knox in Kentucky is home to the United States Bullion Depository. It stores more than half of our national gold reserves - about 150 million troy ounces - or at least it's supposed to.
Enter Trump and Elon:
We're going to go to Fort Knox - the fabled Fort Knox - and make sure the gold is there. If the gold isn't there, we're going to be very upset.
The last full audit of Fort Knox happened in the 50s, with another partial audit occurring in 1974. This could get spicy, but there's no indication that any of the gold has gone missing.
Though they might want to use this method before Trump and Elon arrive, should the gold be missing:
