These folks tried to smuggle goose intestines onto a plane by hiding them under rattlesnakes. I can't believe this is real life.

Six people were arrested in New York and charged with smuggling goose and duck intestines into the U.S. from China.

They had a pretty solid plan if you ask me.

They hid the intestines under the rattlesnakes.

Okay, it was packaged rattlesnake meat, but I wouldn't touch it.

And on top of that, they also had hidden some hawthorn fruit in with all the squiggly bits.

All of the forbidden items were labeled as pet grooming items or seafood.

These guys were clearly criminal masterminds.

And it wasn't a little bit of intestines and rattlesnake meat either.

The six, who were expected to appear in federal court in Brooklyn later Tuesday, are charged with importing, storing and selling hundreds of pounds of illegal food items between August 2022 and May 2023.

Hundreds of pounds?

For what?

They were apparently selling the intestines, snakes, and fruit to New York restaurants as a delicacy.

Alright, that's enough for me.
