United Airlines plane loses wheel at takeoff ... Watch the bizarre "brace for landing" video
· Jul 12, 2024 · NottheBee.com

Dude, this is nuts. United Airlines flight 1001 from Los Angeles to Denver lost a flipping tire during takeoff Monday morning at around 7:15.

Here it is rolling down the runway.

And when it came time to land, here is what it looked like from inside the cabin:

A United Airlines plane had one of its main gear wheels come off as soon as it took off from Los Angeles airport. The flight continued to Denver and landed safely. Given the possibility of collapse, the cabin crew, by order of the captain, repeat 'Brace'

Bro, I'm about to become one of those crazy dudes who don't fly on airplanes!

Glad the cameraman decided to stop rolling and "brace ... brace ... brace ... " tho...

And check this out. LAX even featured this exact plane on a takeoff the day before this incident.

Not a good look, United. Not a good look.
