Remember these girls in West Virginia who refused to compete against a boy in the shot put?

Well, like I said, they were brave then, but I'm not sure they realized the consequences that might follow and the determination of the wokies.

The Harrison County Board of Education has BANNED the girls who took a stand from future competitions.

Because wokeness hates the truth and doesn't care about girls.

(Even in West Virginia.)

Now the state's AG is suing the BoE on behalf of the girls, which may take the original case that allowed the boy to compete against girls all the way back to the Supreme Court.

Despite the ruling, (West Virginia Attorney General Patrick) Morrisey has rallied against both the ruling and the treatment of the student-athletes who protested competing against Pepper-Jackson.

"Their actions at the earlier track meet were not disruptive or aggrandizing. They were the quiet demonstration of the student-athletes' evident unhappiness with the competitive consequences of a federal appellate court's decision," Morrisey, a Republican currently primarying for governor, wrote in the amicus brief filed April 26.

This is exactly right. Go back to the original story and watch the video. This wasn't a riot. It was a silent protest. And for that, they can never compete again if the BoE has its way.

Riley Gaines also spoke out against this nonsense, and the West Virginia AG reaffirmed his commitment to protecting girls' sports.
