You'd think that living in a red state like Tennessee, going to a public university in a city like Chattanooga, and being a conservative on campus would all go together smoothly, wouldn't you?
Well, you'd be wrong.
Yes, the University of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC) is not going to allow Turning Point USA to form a chapter on campus because it supposedly promotes hate speech.
TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet has more details on what's happening here.
UTC allows a variety of Christian organizations, like Baptist Campus Ministries, CRU, etc., but in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination, UTC's student government decided that his organization is just too hateful.

Chattanooga, Tennessee, of all places!
As it turns out, just a little bit of bad press has forced the hand of the university. The administration at UT has taken matters into their own hand.
Glad to see quick action from the school's administrators to right this injustice.
