In the latest spectacle in the Ongoing Performative Woke Circus, Vanderbilt women's basketball team just announced that they're going to stay in their locker room during the national anthem for the entirety of the season.

Such a circus. So self-congratulatory.

I'm sure they'll feel very virtuous and morally superior in front of their parents (the only people who watch their games).

So the obvious question is, who's gonna one-up Vandy? What's the next spectacle? How do they crank that woke dial up another notch?

Allow me to offer a suggestion:

Just forfeit the entire season! You know, as a protest. All the teams should do that.

Even better — just cancel the sport of women's basketball forever!
