Victory: The Florida legislature just passed a bill banning abortion after 15 weeks and DeSantis is expected to sign it ✊

Florida has just been draining three-pointers for the past two years: The state legislature and Gov. Ron DeSantis have led the way on responsible and proactive pandemic policies, sheltering the state from the ravages of pro-lockdown, anti-science hysteria.

Now, just for the heck of it, they decided to go ahead and save the lives of countless babies too:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is poised to sign into a law a bill that would ban most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, allowing only for exceptions involving "serious risk" to the pregnant [woman] and fatal fetal abnormality but with no exceptions for rape or incest.

The Republican-sponsored bill was passed by the state Senate on Thursday night, and was swiftly condemned by President Joe Biden. DeSantis, who has voiced support for the measure, has a seven-day deadline after the bill is presented to him to sign or veto it.

Ooooh, the measure was "swiftly condemned by President Joe Biden?" You mean Joe Biden didn't like this victorious pro-life bill?? Oh noooo! DeSantis and the Florida legislature must be absolutely beside themselves!

Note that this is fast becoming a trend in Republican-controlled states:

Florida now joins West Virginia and Arizona as conservative-led states advancing a 15-week abortion ban bill this session, one of several controversial bills the Republican-led legislature is pushing.

Let that be a clarion call: If conservatives are in charge of your state legislature, push them to pass a bill like this one.

And if they're not in charge, vote them in and start saving some lives!
