This isn't something you expect to see on your commute.
A bystander caught this insane video of a twin-engine aircraft making an emergency landing on a highway then plowing into cars in the intersection.

The plane was sheared completely in half. Check out this additional footage of the aftermath:
According to the FAA, the plane was a Piper PA-31 and was only carrying the pilot.
4 people were sent to the hospital, but thankfully no one was killed.

A sleuth on X found the pilot worked for a surveying company and discovered his grid-shaped flight pattern that ended in an emergency landing.
Thank God it wasn't way worse!
