Virgin Islands Governor fires attorney general that went after JPMorgan Chase for their ties to Jeffrey Epstein
· Jan 3, 2023 · NottheBee.com

We just ran a story that Attorney General Denise George filed a lawsuit against JP Morgan Chase, accusing the fifth most powerful bank in the world of knowingly enabling Jeffrey Epstein to engage in underage sex trafficking.

But later that same day, it was announced that the US Virgin Islands governor Albert Bryan Jr fired George over the lawsuit.

The official statement did not say what the cause of the termination was. A statement from Bryan's office just read:

"I relieved Denise George of her duties as attorney general this weekend. I thank her for her service to the people of the territory during the past four years as attorney general and wish her the best in her future endeavors."

However, according to people familiar with the situation Bryan has been frustrated with George for some time. She filed the lawsuit against the bank without informing him, and that action was the final straw.

JP Morgan has not made any comments about the lawsuit alleging their complicity in Epstein's crimes, and now with George's abrupt termination, it's unclear what will happen with the lawsuit.

On an unrelated note, is it just me or is it weird that this all went down while President Biden was on vacation in the US Virgin Islands signing omnibus bills that had to be flown in because he forgot them?

It's probably nothing.
