The delivery service Favor is hiring a "Chief Taco Officer" for the Summer to travel across the state of Texas eating tacos.

Yep, that's the job description.

You'll drive city-to-city across Texas, enjoy the sights and eat tacos.

Sounds like a dream job. I can already smell the tacos.

Unfortunately for those of us living in the lesser 49 states, the application is only open to Texas residents over the age of 21.

The job will last two months and pay $10,000 plus travel (and of course, free tacos). The Chief Taco Officer (CTO for short) will be responsible for consuming copious amounts of tacos, posting a lot of food pictures on social media, and generally documenting their travel across the Lone Star State.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous of whoever gets this job. And I'm personally pretty disappointed because I've eaten A LOT of tacos in Texas, and most of them were pretty great, but I had to pay for every one of them out of pocket.

The CTO will spend 2 days in each Texas city, but from personal experience, I can tell you that they're going to need a lot more than 2 days to try all the best taco places in El Paso. And Austin. And San Antonio.
