Viral video shows Colorado Springs school kicking kid out of class for "Don't Tread On Me" flag that they said has "origins with slavery" 🥴

I guess someone didn't read the flag.

In this video, the school official claims that the Gadsden flag, flown during the American Revolution and celebrated by patriots everywhere, had its roots in "slavery."

There's no evidence for this. It's just something the school officials made up. I can't wait for them to explain how the other things on his backpack, like a Doge patch and the word "Based," are also evil and must be banned.

The parent of the young man explained exactly where the flag came from, what it meant, and why he had it. But rules are rules and the kid was not permitted to return to class unless he removed the "offensive" patch.

Here's Boyack's further reporting. It really exposes how thin and baseless these policies are:

These schools are out of control. You can fly a gay sex flag but not one of the major flags used in America's founding. It's "controversial" to display anything they don't agree with, you see, because some racist somewhere might have used it sometime.

And even worse, they don't know the history themselves!!
