This North Carolina home was worth $381k and I bet you might even be able to get a discount now that it's in the ocean

Ah, who are we kidding... nothing goes below asking price in this economy.

If you've scheduled a vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina this year, you should probably call ahead and make sure your house hasn't drifted off toward Europe or something:

Just in case you thought this was a unique occurrence, this was actually the second house to collapse in Rodanthe in one day:

The National Park Service shared news of the first collapse at 24235 Ocean Drive in Rodanthe on Tuesday morning and said the beach was closed to protect the public from hazards.

Hours later, officials reported that a second home, at 24265 Ocean Drive in Rodanthe, collapsed. It was captured on video and shared by the park service. One final wave sent the home crashing into the ocean below.

Rodanthe is famous for its homes that sit pretty much directly on the water. You may remember seeing such a house in the hit Nicholas Sparks romantic comedy movie "Nights in Rodanthe" starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane:

Oh you didn't see that movie? Well you're missing out. It's pretty much identical to nearly every other stupid Nicholas Sparks movie, most of which involve star-crossed lovers gamboling around coastal North Carolina in some way.

Can that guy write anything different? Seriously. Try a thriller or a mystery or something—anything but another rehash of the same dumb plot.

And no, having one of the characters die at the end doesn't count, Nick! You do that in like every other novel.

Oh yeah this post was about the houses collapsing in the Outer Banks. Well, anyway, I guess that's all I have to say about it.
