Disgraceful stuff from cops that should know better:
An Oklahoma community is enraged, a 6-year-old boy is traumatized and two police officers are under investigation after the cops slammed the child's father to the ground and arrested him for simply going on a morning walk with his son.
But despite the outrage, the two cops involved have not been placed on leave while the investigation is underway.
That's no exaggeration: The guy was legit just out walking with his kid when the cops decided he was doing something wrong.
The cop, of course, had a rock-solid reason for putting the guy in a body lock and handcuffs:
I found it a little bit suspicious, you know? Just walking around.
Cops in Oklahoma rolling up when someone is "just walking around":
The officer later told the dad that though they "[didn't] know what you were doing," they could just "call it criminal activity" and be done with it.
The man's autistic son, meanwhile, was understandably scarred by the incident:
He's been a cop for Halloween for the last two years. That's what he's been wanting to be when he grows up. That's what he says, and now he's scared of them.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has already completed its investigation into the incident, though it hasn't released the results; the Blaine County district attorney, meanwhile, is now investigating the matter.
