With extreme lawlessness on the rise throughout the US, you're starting to see more scenes like this one, where regular citizens feel obliged to step up to stop crime since they know that the law won't be enforced otherwise.

This video of a man stopping a couple of thieves trying to rob a TJ Maxx in Eastvale, California, is going viral:

And, of course, since this dude tried to stop these ladies from committing a theft that would cost the store hundreds of dollars, this is the thanks he gets:

Of course, police haven't said a word about this story that happened on Monday.

And given the state of law enforcement in California, I don't expect them to do anything.

Unless they decide to charge the man who attempted to stop the crime, that is.
