It's really quite difficult to believe, but somehow New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio actually thought that the following video makes him look good—a video in which he openly celebrates the total destruction of a bunch of awesome dirt bikes with a bulldozer. Just marvel at it:

That is just terrible messaging. Dude is taking a bunch of sweet bikes and literally destroying them with a piece of construction equipment. It's the sort of thing you might expect from some nefarious industry tycoon or hateful malcontent in a cheesy kid's movie from the early 2000s.

I swear I think some of these politicians are in a competition to see who can release the most insane, corny nonsense and still be taken seriously.
