Anyone checked in on Chicago recently to see how they're doing?
Oh:
So they're not doing all that well, I guess.
A trio of thieves fled with $10,000 worth of merchandise from the Ulta Beauty store in suburban Norridge on Saturday, according to police.
The brazen theft unfolded in the afternoon during shopping hours.
Cell phone video captured the trio pillaging through shelves of high-end beauty products and shoving them into garbage bags.
Some of the stolen products were branded Dior and Armani, as seen in the video.
Well, $10,000 constitutes grand larceny, so now every thief in the continental U.S. knows you can just waltz into high-end stores in Chicago and get away with felony theft pretty much at will.
If you're in Chicago, it might be worth looking into some nice acreage outside of Champaign-Urbana... If you haven't been doing that for months already.
