RIP, England! You were a fine 1,000-year experiment in civilization. 😭

You can't make it up: These English lads are flying the actual flag of England, embroidered with St. George's cross, that's been around since the 12th century or so. Legend says King Richard the Lionhearted was the one who adopted the banner.

But the sheriffs of Nottingham won't stand for anything dabbling in King Richard these days!

Heck, the red cross is the centerpiece of the current Union Jack that was adopted in the early 1600s!

And this police officer calls it "close to racist" because some white Brits want to fly it at a demonstration [checks notes] in England, where [checks notes again] mass numbers of migrants are calling for the extermination of Israel.

Saladin would be proud!
