Amazingly, the guy managed to survive, per local news reports:
Police say the driver was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters. He was then transported to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash caused by the 90-year-old driver, according to police.
The owner of the coffee shop, meanwhile, was simply happy that there were no injuries:
"Normally, we are open with a hundred people in the space. There was not one person on the street or inside the building at the time it happened. We are just very grateful that no one was injured."
Amen to that!
