I dunno if it's legal for Ted Cruz to destroy a Biden judicial nominee like this, but hoo boy is it satisfying to watch!

Ted Cruz went super saiyan this week on a Biden judicial nominee because she signed a letter in the beginning of Covid hysteria asking for ALL non-convicted criminals to be let out of jail due to the virus.

Here's a clip of Cruz laying it out for her:

Sarah French Russell is Biden's nominee for a district court in Connecticut, and in 2020 during the "defund the police" craze, she signed a letter asking for ALL criminals awaiting trial to be released from jail.

That meant abolishing the bail system and, well, trusting that murderers and rapists would keep things together and won't be a menace to the public while awaiting their day in court.

Cruz: Do you think a moratorium on new admissions into jails and prisons, is that a policy you support?

Russell: ...I know there were efforts to reduce new admissions, but there are obviously some people who would present a public safety risk.

Cruz: Your letter didn't say that... [from the letter]: "We call upon Governor Lamont... to immediately release, to the maximum extent possible, people incarcerated pre-trial and post-conviction. We recognize that jails and prison are not safe and do not promote well-being for anyone.

The letter she signed goes on to say that the penal system is of "untenable size" and that we need to shrink the size and scale of jails and prisons.

This is not someone who is smart or takes public safety seriously. Or, perhaps it's a person who is very serious about her convictions and just wants to watch the nation burn. It's either stupidity or hatred for her country.

Russell said she doesn't know the context of the letter, she couldn't speak to the details, and she doesn't even remember signing the letter.

These are the radicals Joe Biden is nominating. We need about 50 more Ted Cruzes to hold their feet to the fire.

Here's the whole exchange if you want it:
