When you're down by 43 points with 20 seconds left in the ballgame, I guess your best option is to go with something like this:

"Did he just do a backflip?!?"

That's Evan Randall of Christchurch School in Virginia, and he was pretty excited to have drained that 3-point shot (and landed the backflip, of course).

"We were down by a lot, so it was my turn to go in. I wanted to make a memorable moment for myself as a senior. I used to be a cheerleader, so backflips were like a second nature to me. So I figured I'd, you know, try something special."

A memorable moment, indeed!

Christchurch may have lost by 40 points, but we'll always remember this game for its awesome backflip-3-pointer ending.
