The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has opened up an internal investigation into this incident in order to "better understand the circumstances," but, to me, the only thing to "better understand" here is how to be a complete rockstar while detaining a bad guy.
The officer was at his second job working security at the Marquee Lounge when he was asked to remove a man from the club. Next thing you know he was detaining the man on the ground and lighting up a stogie.
Man's at his side job and gets his hands on a cigar while working his butt off. Of course he's gonna light it up and enjoy it! There's nothing like a good stick to reward oneself for a hard day's work, and this guy deserves a medal for this greatness.
