The Chevy Suburban has a curb weight between 5,500 and 5,800 pounds, with 355 to 420 horsepower.

These people thought they could stop that with their arms and legs.

The little screams as she (?) fails to stop the forward momentum of the SUV...

Let's not forget the other heroes who tried to stop the 6,000-pound metal machines with little orange traffic barriers:

And shrubberies:

Over 150 of these protesters assembled last Saturday on Canal Street to try to stop federal law enforcement officers from arresting criminal foreigners, also known as obstruction of justice (and potential assault on peace officers).

From the New York Post:

The angry demonstrators shouting 'ICE out of New York' descended on a parking garage in Lower Manhattan, where dozens of federal agents had gathered inside to prepare for an apparent immigration raid, the NYPD said.

Cops responded to the chaotic scene near the US General Services Administration building on Centre Street after receiving a 911 call about more than 150 protestors blocking traffic and access to the garage.

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch was mad at the federal officers for doing their job, because of course.

18 people were arrested.
