You'll probably be more confused about "libragender" than you were before watching this video.
"Let's talk gender, specifically, 'libragenders,'" the austere TikTok scholar Vampiirekid began.
Raise your hand if this is your first encounter with the term "libragender." 🙋♂️
Before we hear what "libragender" means, Vampiirekid wants us to get our mental gymnastics started early in the video.
As has been apparently established by the gender experts, there are two main categories for gender: static/stable (doesn't change) and fluid (does change).
If it sounds like this was made up like two seconds ago... that's because it was.
Let's continue.
"Libragender people feel mostly agender with a slight connection to another gender," Vampiirekid said. "Firstly, we have 'librafeminine.'"
Wait a second -- what do you mean "Firstly"?! How many more are there?! Adding "libragender" to the 40 trillion other genders isn't already enough? You're telling me we need a spin-off of a spin-off of a spin-off? This ain't the Marvel Cinematic Universe!!
"'Librafeminie people feel mostly agender and slightly feminine," Vampiirekid continued. "Some describe it as feeling a strong connection to agender as well as a lesser connection to femininity."
"Libramasculine people are the opposite where they feel mostly agender and slightly masculine. Some describe it as having a strong connection to being genderless as well as a lesser connection to being masculine."
What's hilarious is that these clowns making up all these fake genders STILL cannot escape the binary of male and female: libramasculine or librafeminine. Vampiirekid even says libramasculine is the "opposite" of librafeminine. WHOOPS!
I'm still trying to figure out what a "lesser" or "slight connection to another gender" even means in the first place.
"Lastly, we have 'librafluid,'" she said.
(What a relief! Thankfully... It's almost over. So, hang in there.)
"'Librafluid' people feel mostly agender with a slight connection to another gender that fluctuates throughout other genders," she said as even she looked confused as she said it.
It looks like she was trying to play it off like it's cute that this is absolute madness and doesn't make a lick of sense. But I ain't buyin' it, libraladies and libragentlemen.
"Stay with me here. ['Librafluid' people] feel a strong connection to being agender while another part of their gender feels fluid. One part will always feel agender while the other part will fluctuate throughout masculine to feminine."
There's that darn binary again.
And I'm not even going to pretend like I have any way of rationalizing any of that "librafluid" degenerate rubbish.
I need an explainer video for this explainer video.
"Hope that could help," she said as she put all of us out of our misery by ending the video.
This #vampiirekidexplains video most certainly did not help.
