Heart-pounding dashcam footage caught the moment a 73,000-pound dump truck smashed into the side of a New Jersey home at 50 mph, injuring a resident and destroying the building.
The driver is believed to have suffered a medical episode moments before the violent crash in Woodbury on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Woodbury Police Department.
A medical episode is the likely explanation. The poor guy didn't slow down at all from the looks of it. On top of that, he had to wait three hours before being pulled from the truck.
A resident of the home was taken to the hospital with "non-life-threatening injuries."
The home, meanwhile, "was later demolished after the truck was removed."
Hopefully, the residents get a whole new house out of this deal.
