2020 just keeps steaming forward.
Pope Francis, AKA The Hippie Pope, came out of the closet today and called for the creation of civil union laws for same-sex couples, breaking with official Catholic doctrine, mankind's entire history, and the Bible.
His shocking-but-not-really announcement came in a documentary about his life that was released today in Rome.
He said:
"Homosexuals have a right to be part of the family. They're children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out, or be made miserable because of it. What we have to create is a civil union law. That way, they are legally covered. I stood up for that."
You know 2020 is wild when the stinking pope comes out in favor of gay civil unions and it's like not even a huge story.
