A few weeks ago, Pope Francis was seen sneaking into a record store to get some sweet tunes.
Over Easter, however, some noticed that Francis was moving a bit slower, followed by this scene earlier this week:
According to some in the media, the pope is suffering from knee pain related to sciatica.
Others said he has a torn ligament in his knee.
Others still referenced his recent colon surgery last summer, when he privately used a wheelchair.
This week was the first time he was out in public with a wheelchair, however.
Running around all day every day at age 85 isn't easy! Especially when you've got a million things on the calendar every day!
(My goodness, can you imagine Joe Biden trying to keep up with just one day of Francis' routine?)
I know that popes have historically served until death (most of the time), but since we've doubled our life expectancy in the last century, maybe the Catholic Church should look at electing a younger guy the next time around and investing in a healthy retirement plan around age 80 or so?
Just sayin'!
