After watching mainstream media punch Ron DeSantis in the face for years, treating him like a James Bond villain, my brain is struggling with this.

That's right. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis helped evacuate hundreds of Floridians and other Americans from Israel over the weekend.
270 evacuees, including 91 children, landed in Tampa last night where they were greeted by the governor.
The Governor signed an executive order on Thursday that enables the Florida Division of Emergency Management to bring Floridians home and transport supplies out to Israel. They estimate some 20,000 U.S. citizens, including Floridians, are stranded in Israel.
The executive order directs the Florida Division of Emergency Management to charter flights for Americans trying to get home. It also states, "There are more than 20,000 Americans, including Floridians in Israel who wish to return home but are unable to do so. The executive order allows the State of Floria to carry out logistical, rescue, and evacuation operations to keep its residents safe."
This is just the first step, one plane out of Israel and landing in Florida.
The governor and his office are working with the nonprofit Project Dynamo, which helps to plan evacuation efforts and currently is working on a plan to help free hostages being held by Hamas in Palestine.
"Israel mourns its more than 1400 murdered and 150 hostages in the devastating unprovoked terror attack perpetrated by Hamas," Consul General of Israel to Florida, Maor Elbaz-Starinsky said. "We have gone to war to eradicate Hamas and its allies and to uphold our values of freedom, humanity and the sanctity of life. The support we are receiving from Governor DeSantis, the First Lady, FDEM Executive Director Kevin Guthrie, Florida Commerce Secretary Alex Kelly, FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass and his entire administration and the state is overwhelming. We are very grateful for the special flights and supplies."
Florida is busy extracting its citizens from a war zone; meanwhile, President Biden is taking softball interview questions on friendly media, telling the 60 Minutes audience that he's just 4 more years away from world peace after watching the world fall apart in his first term!
Sure, Israel is being invaded by Hamas. Russia invaded Ukraine. China is menacing Taiwan. Iran is moving military assets to the Iraqi border. Azerbaijan is terrorizing Armenia. Islamist migrants have taken en masse to the streets of Europe.
But just give it a few more years and Biden will have it all fixed up!
It's funny, it's almost like only one side of the aisle is serious about peace and protecting Americans.
