While Turkey is the most iconic food at the Thanksgiving table, the hidden star is butter.
A survey by Danish Creamery revealed that Americans use butter for almost everything in their Thanksgiving meals.
But this year, thanks to the Biden FDA, there are going to be a lot of disappointed families because Costco was just forced to recall 79,200 pounds of Kirkland Signature butter off of the shelves due to an undeclared allergen.
The undeclared allergen?
Milk!
Who doesn't know that butter comes from milk?
The ingredients do list cream, though, so maybe the FDA isn't sure that people know cream comes from milk?
Then the cream gets churned, and then you get butter.
I wish I could say we hit peak stupidity here, but somehow, I doubt it.
We really need Trump to get Elon Musk, RFK Jr., and Ron Paul started on the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to cut $2 trillion out of the federal budget, because this is the nonsense our tax dollars pay for (in addition to foreign wars).
Anyway, should you find yourself butterless this Thanksgiving, I'll include this handy-dandy video on how to make homemade butter in less than 10 minutes to save your holiday.
The best part is, you'll get buttermilk out of the deal too.
And if you don't know, buttermilk is great for brining a turkey and making biscuits!
