Sometimes these clips come to you on a silver platter.
This story from our favorite bro Woke Preacher Clips is truly amazing to watch.
What God is telling Daniel is that Babylon, the head of gold, would be the most powerful nation in this succession.
Okay, I'm following along so far. Daniel's vision of the four empires that would precede the coming of the Messiah does have Babylon as the head of gold.
So then the question should be: What would make Babylon so great?
I'm glad you asked. You just read it there in Daniel chapter one. Do you realize that for all of Nebuchadnezzar's eccentricities, he had one good civil practice. What made Babylon stand out was they instituted a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program!

Does ...
Does Pastor Snell realize that Babylon, like Egypt, is one of the primary bad guys in the Bible and is a metaphor for the kingdom of Satan??
Did you notice it was there in Daniel chapter one. What Babylon did was every captured nation, they would take individuals from that group and they would train them in the science and the literature of Babylon and put them to work in the king's service. And some believe that Nebuchadnezzar learned from his father Nabopolassar that any kingdom that has a homogenous cabinet is gonna have a lid in its prosperity.
Why yes, I also agree that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a tool of Babylon, the great Satan. I am glad we're on the same page!
Wait ... is the preacher telling us that this is a good thing? That can't be what I'm hearing, can it?
In other words, Nebuchadnezzar knew that if your cabinet is homogenous, if your military looks the same, if all of those in leadership think the same, guess what, your blindspots are going to be permanent!
And the only way to get a 360° view of wisdom is to have people from every nation represented in the leadership of government!
How does The Babylon Bee compete with reality anymore?
"Woke Preacher tells America to be more like Babylon."
'On her forehead was written a name, a mystery: Babylon the Great, the Mother of Prostitutes and of the Detestable Things of the Earth.' - Revelation 17:5
'When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry: "Woe! Woe to you, great city, you mighty city of Babylon! In one hour your doom has come!'" - Revelation 18:9-10
Yes, THAT Babylon!
But this pastor takes one look at those metaphors and the historical degeneracy of the Babylonian Empire and thought, "YES, that is what we should copy!"
I'll leave Pastor Snell with this song. Babylon is fallen! 🙌
