Well, it looks like coming out as an open racist and sexist bigot, even against white men, still is not a very good look in today's society.
We gave you the story recently of a Pennsylvania school board member who used her voice to spew racist and sexist remarks against her qualified colleague, saying it would "send the wrong message" if she voted for a white dude.
Welp, according to The Post Millennial, her open bigotry has cost her. She learned the lesson: go woke, go broke.
On Monday, after a video of the meeting went viral, the district's superintendent Dr. Susan Elliott issued a statement regarding Solot's comments. "As a result of this incident, Ms. Solot has decided to resign from the board effective January 2, 2023. She wishes to apologize for her poorly chosen words and does not want to be a distraction from the great things happening in our schools on a daily basis. The district thanks Ms. Solot for her five years of service to the Upper Moreland community as a board member."
If she had said the same thing about any other race or gender, she would have been fired and pushed out on her butt.
But the pressure of going viral thanks to Libs of TikTok was enough to force this bigot into early retirement when, not long ago, she would have been celebrated as a hero for her bigoted statements.
The statement added that Solot's comments were "solely hers" and did not represent the opinions of the other members of the school board members or the district.
