Always with the pit bulls:
This girl was months away from graduating college, an animal lover who just wanted to make a few bucks dog-sitting.
And then the pit bulls attacked.

My beautiful, full of love, full of life, free-spirited daughter was killed in a sudden and vicious dog attack. Madi was love, she was light, she was kindness, she was laughter, she was fierce in the most beautiful and disarming way. She loved life with her whole heart and moved through the world with a free-spirit that lifted those around her.
She was six months away from earning her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, from the University of Texas at Tyler, and she had already found her true purpose in teaching young children. Her K-3rd grade students adored her. She had a gift for making every child feel safe, special, and loved. Madison's heart was made for that work.
This just completely breaks your heart.

Deputies were called to the Tyler home, where they found Hull lying in the backyard. When one of the responding officers attempted to help Hull, one of the pit bulls charged towards him, WTOC-11 reported.
The deputy then shot and killed one of the canines. His gunfire scared the two remaining dogs, allowing him to get Hull out of the backyard, however, she died shortly after, according to the news station.
Awful. Just awful.
