Woman runs out of hairspray, so uses Gorilla Glue instead, and the results are predictably, well, horrible

Tessica Brown, what were you thinking?!

So when you run out of your Got2b Glued, you know you can't just reach for a can of Gorilla Glue Adhesive Spray — GORILLA GLUE!! — and expect it to work just like hairspray, right?

But alas, that's exactly what Tessica Brown did. And now — SHOCKER! — she can't get it out.

I mean, check out the Amazon product description:

The internet trolls were quick to pounce, many suggesting she did it as a publicity stunt. But seriously?! Who purposely sets out to trend as #gorillagluegirl?! I don't know about you, but to my ear, that just doesn't have the ring of a successful internet influencer.

So before you go mocking her like the throngs of others trolling her on social media, consider that her "do" (or should I say, "don't") has now been PLASTERED in place exactly like this for a month now!

"My hair has been like this for about a month now. It's not by choice. No, it's not by choice," she woefully admitted in a TikTok video now viewed almost 20 million times.

And it's glued down so tight that she can't even get a razor under it to shave it off!

At the behest of her TikTok followers (a number increasing by the hour as this saga unfolds), she has tried everything: shampoos, tea tree oil, castor oil, alcohol. She's tried scrubbing and scraping, and washing, and rinsing.

Social media influencer, Kavos, couldn't help but chuckle as he noted that so many were dolling out advise, "as if they'd [actually] done this themselves!"

Poor thing. In desperation, Tessica took a trip to the emergency room this week. Their advice? Rub a section at a time with nail polish remover and rinse with saline solution. They told her it could take up to 20 hrs or more to patiently complete the task, so they sent her home to work on it herself. But apparently, the process burns so badly, she's ready to give up.

In a Trending Now interview Monday on YouTube today, she chronicled her whole ordeal.

At this point, she's started a GoFundMe campaign to finance her remedy, and, according to TMZ, is considering legal action.

Good luck with that, Tessica! The Gorilla Glue company tweeted their condolences, but pointed out it says right on the label, "Do not get in eyes, on skin, or clothing."

So here's our advice to Tessica, and all you other stylistas. Next time you wanna glue down your hair, try one of these other "gorilla" products that are actually safe for human use. Like, Gorilla Snot Hair Gel ...

Or, if desperate, you might even try Gorilla Snot Pick Grip. It's not for hair, but at least it's safe for human skin.
