Would somebody please get Pope Francis a copy of Romans 1?

Grace without repentance is antithetical to the Gospel, my dude.

God is our Father in heaven, and those who call on His name are adopted into His family as sons and daughters.

But Francis is skipping a step. His push to separate sin from criminality is rooted in dangerous thinking that seeks to be "inclusive" while excluding people from heaven by not imparting to them the seriousness of their sin.

In Matthew 7:21, Jesus says this:

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.

God is a Father, but he isn't the helicopter coddling type that raised the Millennials.

No, He disciplines and He judges. He is good, but He's not safe. He is a warrior, a protector, a king! – One who is incapable of evil or of being in the presence of evil. Because of this, those who fall into evil are doomed to receive his just wrath and be separated from Him for eternity.

If this is true, who then can be saved?

This is the entire reason that Christ came to die as a ransom for our own sins – to make a way where there was no way.

John 10:9: "I am the gate. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture."

The Pope is supposed to be Christ's representative on earth, and he doesn't know this? He's missed the entire point of the good news!

Or does the Pope not believe God Himself when He defines good and evil according to His own design?

Romans 1:26-27: "For this reason God delivered them over to disgraceful passions. Their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. The men in the same way also left natural relations with women and were inflamed in their lust for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in their own persons the appropriate penalty of their error.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: "Don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or males who have sex with males, no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God's kingdom."

Leviticus 18:22: "You are not to sleep with a man as with a woman; it is detestable."

Leviticus 20:13: "If a man sleeps with a man as with a woman, they have both committed a detestable act. They must be put to death; their death is their own fault."

Does the Pope consider himself more merciful, loving, righteous, and knowing than the God he claims to serve?

Or does he serve a different god entirely?

I'll leave you to ponder that.
