Why is this notable? It's notable because Donald Trump thoroughly and completely embarrassed Jeb(!) during the 2016 election in savage manner and then river-danced on top of his $130 million corpse.
Trump made a mockery of Jeb – the man who, very early in the race, many thought would eventually be the frontrunner and torch-carrying for the Bush dynasty – and single-handedly ruined his entire political career.
Ever since, Donald Trump has been the sworn enemy of the Bush family, to such a point that they have sided with Democrats over him.
And yet Jeb(!) tweeted this today:
Bragg's predecessor didn't take up the case. The Justice Department didn't take up the case. Bragg first said he would not take up the case. This is very political, not a matter of justice. In this case, let the jury be the voters.
