The relentless march of gender ideology has been happening for years now. At times it has seemed as if it will never be rolled back. Its supporters have been too determined and political and cultural leaders have been too disposed to accept it.
But lately it really does seem like something's changing here:
Wyoming has become the 19th state to ban men from competing in women's sports.
Men who identify as women will be barred from competing with women in high school sports in Wyoming under the new legislation.
It's great stuff. Women should not have to worry that young men will suddenly decide to identify as girls and sweep in to dominate their sports leagues. It's almost comically unfair.
It's worth pointing out that the bill passed even though the state's Republican governor expressed opposition to it:
While I freely acknowledge the intent of this legislation is well-meaning as a way to protect the integrity and fairness of women's sports in our state [Gov. Mark Gordon wrote], by enacting an outright ban on transgender individuals participating in team sports I believe Wyoming sends a harmful message that these individuals and their families do not deserve the same opportunities as others.
Uh huh. Yeah sure governor.
Among the other states with recently enacted bans include Arizona, Texas, Iowa, and numerous others throughout the South and Midwest.
