The other was about 5ft 9in (1.75m) tall with long white blonde hair and spoke with a Merseyside accent.

Every sane person reading the BBC's description of the two "women:"

Note that the height distribution of women in the U.K. makes the occurrence of even a 5ft 9in female extremely rare (to say nothing of a towering 6ft 3in lady!):

Imagine protecting two depraved men who molested a child in public by respecting their gEnDeR idEnTiTy and believing you're doing the right thing.

This is, unfortunately, not the first time the BBC has engaged in outright transgender activism instead of straight up news:
