Entrepreneur, immigrant, and podcaster Patrick Bet-David released this video recently talking about all the stats around fatherless homes in the United States.
It's the definition of a must-watch:
America is one of the worst countries for dads. Nearly 1-in-4 households do not have fathers. It is THE blight on our country.
Then Bet-David gets into why this matters.
The teen pregnancy epidemic, the abortion epidemic, and the high rates of crime and incarceration?
All tied to fatherlessness.
Fatherless children are orders of magnitude more likely to fall victim to these fates.
This one actually took me off guard:
If a man and a wife raise a child, they are less likely to end up in jail. But they have the same chances as children raised by just a father.
