An on-ice camera for hockey fights? Yes, please!

Leave it to the Canadians to set the best trends in hockey. Like this idea, which is surprisingly a new innovation: On-ice cameramen for hockey fights.

Bro, how have we not made this a hockey norm by now?

Like, we could've done this ages ago. But I guess better late than never.

And just in case you guys think this was some random no-name hockey tournament: it wasn't.

For those who aren't aware, the Memorial Cup is an annual tournament to determine the champion of the CHL (Canadian Hockey League). The CHL comprises three major-junior Canadian hockey leagues, the OHL (Ontario Hockey League), QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) and the WHL (Western Hockey League).

That's the top level in Canadian junior hockey and nearly all Canadian-born hockey players drafted into the NHL play in one of the three leagues.

That being said, I want to see this cameraman at every NHL game from here on out. The best angle to witness a hockey fight has now been confirmed.

It's ice-level or nothing!
